Vigo County, Indiana, War of 1812 Bicentennial Committee

 

The Vigo County, Indiana, War of 1812 Bicentennial Committee was formed in 2010 to manage, publicize, and record the presentation of local informative public events in observance of the conflict’s 200th anniversary. These programs were intended to expand awareness and understanding of the War of 1812 as it occurred in the Indiana Territory; to explore of the war’s underlying issues and outcomes, and to learn about the people residing in the Wabash Valley in the early Nineteenth Century.

The Comittee, having fulfilled it's charge, is now disbanded.
