Library's Annual Fall Extravaganza - Thursday, September 10
Come one, come all to the Library’s Annual Fall Extravaganza on Thursday, September 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.! All ISU faculty, staff and students are invited to come to the Library’s annual gigantic welcome back to school event. The library will once again be welcoming the majority of campus to the annual Library Fall Extravaganza. The first floor of the ISU library has a festive atmosphere with balloons, food, games, and information tables just for this special event. We will offer free prizes, gifts, pizza, popcorn and Pepsi products for everyone as long as supplies last. A live band will be playing outside on the Library's patio. Inside, librarians will describe library services and resources available to ISU faculty, staff and students.
Many campus departments and local businesses have been very generous in donating prizes to the Extravaganza. To be eligible for prize drawings, ISU faculty, staff, and students must have their entry card stamped by at least 10 different information tables. Once the attendee’s entry card has had 10 different information tables stamp his/her card, the card may be dropped into the box for the prize drawings. All winners of a prize must present their valid ISU ID in order to claim their prize. Only ISU students are eligible for the Grand Prize of $500. Other major prizes for students only will be drawn at 3:00 p.m. All ISU faculty, staff and students are eligible for the other prizes. Be sure to mark September 10th on your calendar! The Library’s Extravaganza is one day only! Don’t miss it! Invite all of your friends!
