Reference/Instruction
Reference and Instructional Services are available for ISU students.
Do you have a question about research? Reference assistance is available in a variety of ways:

- Chat with Librarian during regular library hours
- Some librarians currently collaborate with faculty to offer classroom support using the Blackboard course management system.
- Weekly Online Reference Session is held every Monday from 9:30 - 10:30 P.M. EDT

Students can learn about the library research process through on-line interactive library tutorials and research guides. Students may receive subject-based instruction focused on their specific research needs by contacting a librarian subject specialist. |

Interlibrary Loan
The Interlibrary Loan Department provides document delivery and interlibrary loan to distance education students. Interlibrary Loan will process these requests through a system called ILLiad.
First time users must register in the ILLiad system. A valid ISU ID card is required. Do this early before you actually need resources. ILL cannot process your requests until you obtain an ISU ID card.
